Last Year's Christmas Trees is a series of annual drawings depicting discarded Christmas trees that have missed the designated tree-pick-up garbage day. Once the centrepiece of parties and the backdrop of countless photographs, these trees lie abandoned on curbs and buried in snow banks. Each year I will collect photographs of these forgotten stars, and make a drawing from the photos to put them back in the spotlight one more time.
